Day 1: Sun, 10 May 2020 Vancouver (D) Welcome to Canada! You will be met at Vancouver International Airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner. Two Night Stay: OPUS Hotel.

Day 2: Monday, 11 May 2020 Vancouver Sightseeing (FB) Enjoy a sightseeing tour including Stanley Park with its intricately carved totem poles, the waterfront area and Gastown. Visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park where you can make your way across this spectacular suspension bridge, and join the award winning Treetops Adventure along a series of elevated walkways.

Day 3: Tuesday, 12 May 2020 Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops (FB,L) Set off on a two day rail experience on “The Most Spectacular Train Journey in the World”. Settle back in your SilverLeaf carriage (upgrade to GoldLeaf at additional expense) and enjoy incredible views of the surroundings. Enter the Fraser Valley then follow the Thompson River towards Kamloops. Overnight Stay: Kamloops Hotel (as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer).

Day 4: Wednesday, 13 May 2020 Rocky Mountaineer – Jasper (FB,L) Continue your journey on board the Rocky Mountaineer into the soaring, rugged snowcapped mountains. Marvel at the beauty of the glaciers, lakes and forest sitting at the foot of these grand mountains and see Canada’s highest peak, the awesome 3954 metre Mount Robson. The day’s end finds us in Jasper National Park, an alpine wonderland of pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife. Two Night Stay: Chateau Jasper or similar.

Day 5: Thursday, 14 May 2020 Jasper (FB,HD) Jasper is a relaxed town surrounded by wilderness and wildlife. Today, you have the opportunity to explore. You’re Invited: Guided walk of the Rockies deepest canyon; Maligne Canyon, then dine at an original Canadian smokehouse located at the canyon trailhead. This is an authentic experience which goes beyond the table and the stories of Maligne come alive with a special horns and antlers presentation. Day 6: Friday, 15 May 2020 Icefields Parkway – Glacier ‘Ice Explorer’ – Lake Louise (FB,D) Travel along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most incredible journeys in the world. Make a stop at the Columbia Icefield, North America’s largest sub-polar ice pack where you’ll climb aboard the ‘Ice Explorer’ for a once-in-a-lifetime journey onto the 300 metre thick Athabasca Glacier. Finish the day at the famous ‘Diamond in the Wilderness’, the beautiful Lake Louise where we will stay in one of the Rockies most stunning and historic properties. Soak up the views, relax and explore this iconic lake. Overnight Stay: Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 7: Saturday, 16 May 2020 Lake Louise – Banff (FB,HD) Make our way to Yoho National Park that houses the spectacular Natural Bridge, which has been carved by the Kicking Horse River, and the glacier fed Emerald Lake so called due to the vibrant colour of its water. Head into Banff National Park, and on arrival into Banff enjoy a sightseeing tour including Bow River, the Hoodoos, and Bow Falls.

You’re Invited: Ride the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for incredible views across the Rockies. Meet a retired Canadian Mountie who will recount exciting and colourful stories of their rich history and traditions. Enjoy the sweeping views while dining on a hearty meal. Two Night Stay: Ptarmigan Inn or similar.

Day 8: Sunday, 17 May 2020 Banff at Leisure (FB) Today is for you to enjoy Banff and its many sights. Discover More: A unique opportunity to get up close to wolfdogs, take an incredible helicopter flight, enjoy an outback dinner and wagon ride, or relax on a float trip along the river (extra expense).

Day 9: Monday, 18 May 2020 Banff – South Thompson River (FB,L) Depart Banff National Park and pass from Alberta to British Columbia through three spectacular national parks of Yoho, Glacier and Mount Revelstoke. Travel past primeval forests, ice age glaciers, waterfalls and mountain peaks as you depart the Rockies. Late this afternoon, we arrive at our unique ranch style inn located on the shores of the South Thompson River. Overnight Stay: South Thompson Inn.

Day 10: Tuesday, 19 May 2020 South Thompson River – Whistler (FB) The road meanders through scenic landscapes beside the Thompson and Fraser Rivers to the charming alpine resort of Whistler Village. You’re Invited: Head to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre for an authentic insight into First Nations culture. Be welcomed by song, then take a stroll through the forest to learn about medicinal plants. Finish with an indigenous tea offering sampling traditional tea and bannock. Two Night Stay: Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa.

Day 11: Wednesday, 20 May 2020 Whistler at Leisure (FB) Today is at leisure for you to explore the village of Whistler. Discover More: Special opportunity to undertake a bear viewing tour, or have dinner with a twist on a tasting tour (extra expense).

Day 12: Thursday, 21 May 2020 Georgia Strait – Victoria (FB) View this spectacular landscape from the air with a one hour floatplane flight over the Georgia Strait to Victoria (seasonal, must be pre-booked, additional cost). Travel along the Sea to Sky Highway following the rugged coastline stopping at the awesome Shannon Falls. Board the BC ferry and cruise through the Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island before arriving into Victoria, British Columbia’s capital city. Two Night Stay: Chateau Victoria.

Day 13: Friday, 22 May 2020 Victoria – Butchart Gardens (FB,HD) This morning is free to explore Victoria. In the afternoon, take an orientation tour of Victoria’s Inner Harbour, Bastion Square, Beacon Hill and residential areas, then visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens, a 22 hectare showplace of magnificent, colourful gardens. Learn about the history and flora while exploring the gardens. You’re Invited: Tonight’s dinner will be in the Butchart family’s former residence or greenhouse. Day 14: Saturday, 23 May 2020 Seattle – 7 Night Alaskan Cruise (FB,D) Transfer on the Victoria Clipper to Seattle. Board your cruise ship and check into your comfortable ocean view stateroom (upgrade to verandah stateroom additional expense) on the luxurious Holland America Cruise Ship ms Eurodam and settle-in for an unforgettable 7 night voyage through the famed Alaskan waterways.

Day 15: Sunday, 24 May 2020 Scenic Cruising (FB,L,D) Take advantage of the ship’s many facilities, or simply relax on deck and watch unmatched scenery glide by.

Day 16: Monday, 25 May 2020 Stephens Passage – Juneau (FB,L,D) Sail picturesque Stephens Passage known for it’s wildlife and dramatic beauty before arriving into Juneau. Founded due to the discovery of gold Juneau became the capital of Alaska. Today, not only is it famous for gold and government but also for breathtaking glaciers and stunning views. It is arguably one of USA’s most beautiful capitals.

Day 17: Tuesday, 26 May 2020 Glacier Bay National Park (FB,L,D) Glacier Bay is the highlight of our voyage. It is a breathtaking national park that boasts some of the world’s most spectacular tidewater glaciers, such as Margerie Glacier, which often drops colossal chunks of ice into the sea. During your scenic cruise, friendly Park Rangers will join the ship to share their knowledge of this amazing place. Take in the awe-inspiring scenery as you enjoy an unforgettable day of sailing through this dazzling park, where you’ll glide along emerald waters and past calving icebergs.

Day 18: Wednesday, 27 May 2020 Sitka (FB,L,D) Sitka is easily one of the most beautiful seaside towns in Alaska, and has a unique blend of Russian history and Tlingit culture.

Day 19: Thursday, 28 May 2020 Ketchikan (FB,L,D) Located on an island, Ketchikan began life as an Indian fishing camp. In the early 1900s, when gold was Alaska’s claim to fame, fishing and timber industries were established in Ketchikan and soon became the staple. Visitors to Ketchikan will be intrigued by its rich Native heritage, which includes the world’s oldest collection of totem poles. Its abundance of salmon also has it known as the salmon capital of the world.

Day 20: Friday, 29 May 2020 Scenic Cruising – Victoria (FB,L,D) Today is a day of relaxation as you cruise south to the stunning capital of British Columbia, Victoria. Day 21:

Saturday, 30 May 2020 Depart Seattle (FB) Disembark early this morning and transfer to Seattle International Airport to board your homeward flight (book flight after 2pm).
