Day 1: Today we board our Qantas flight from Sydney to Vancouver Evening departure. Arrive Vancouver late afternoon. Transfer to downtownl. Evening at leisure

Thursday 29 October Free Day Vancouver

Day 2: Today is yours to explore this beautiful city. Maybe take the free shuttle to Grouse Mountain and take the gondola with views over the entire city. Maybe hire a bike and explore Stanley Park or simply find a good chair on the harbour and watch the float planes.

Friday 30 October Vancouver to Calgary

Day 3: Today we transfer to Vancouver Airport for Our flight to Calgary. On arrival we will transfer into downtown and Check in and prepare for a welcome dinner. You will venture up the Calgary Tower and enjoy dinner overlooking the city and the Rockies in the distance.

Saturday 31 October Calgary to Lake Louise

Day 4: This morning, we depart Calgary and head towards the amazing Rockie Mountains.

We will be in the small village of lake Louise for lunch where we can stock up on supplies before the short 5-minute drive to the Amazing Lake louise and the incredible Chateau Lake Louise. This Location has one of the most incredible vistas in the world and from the Hotel is the best view. The afternoon is at leisure to walk around the lake and take in its beauty.

Sunday 01 November Lake Louise to Jasper

Day 5: This morning, you travel north on the Icefields Parkway, photo stops at Peyto Lake and Bow Lake will be enjoyed before arrival to the Columbia Icefield, where you can view the ancient surface of the Athabasca Glacier. Your guide shares insights into the geology and environmental significance of this massive icefield before you continue north.

A stop at the Athabasca Falls will be enjoyed. By late afternoon, you arrive in the charming alpine town of Jasper, nestled within Jasper National Park.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Dinner will be everyone’s leisure with lots of lively pubs within walking distance.

Monday 02 November Jasper Sightseeing

Day 6: After breakfast, take a ride up Whistlers Mountain, via the Jasper SkyTram, the cabin slowly climbs above the forest and the town of Jasper drops away below, revealing ever-wider views of mountain peaks, winding rivers, and the broad valley stretching out beneath you.

Next, a drive deep into the valley, we will view the expanding ranges of limestone rising out of Medicine Lake. This mysterious disappearing lake changes seasonally as the flow rates of melt waters fill and empty this basin. A stop is made to photograph this natural wonder. From Medicine Lake, our journey takes us through 45 km of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in the Canadian Rockies.

This area is rich with wildlife with frequent sightings of Elk Deer and Moose. The scenic drive finally brings us to beautiful Maligne Lake, the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

The evening will be at leisure to explore the downtown area and in the evening, we will be looking for Auroras as Jasper is a designated Aurora location. All lighting in Jasper is designed for the least amount of light pollution. Option to get out of town to visit the planetarium

Tuesday 03 November Jasper to Banff

Day 7: This morning after breakfast, you will travel south towards Banff. Enjoy a light walk in Johnson canyon, the canyon walls are often dusted with fresh lite snow, while the waterfalls are only partly frozen, creating a mix of rushing water, blue ice, and long crystal icicles hanging from the cliffs. The contrast of dark limestone, white snow, evergreen forest, and icy turquoise water makes the canyon feel almost magical. As you walk along the suspended catwalks above the creek, the sound of the water echoes through the narrow canyon while the surrounding forest is quiet and still.

Arrive into Banff and receive a guided sightseeing tour which includes Tunnel Mountain, Hoodoos with a small walk, Surprise corner, Bow falls and a drive by the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel. A stop to the Trading post for some souvenirs will be enjoyed before Checking in to our Hotel. Our hotel is a very short walking distance from town so you can take advantage of all that Banff has to offer. Evening at leisure.

Wednesday 04 November Banff Sightseeing

Day 8: Enjoy a morning at leisure. After lunch, a sightseeing tour of Minnewanka lake, Johnson Lake and Bankhead will be had. Tonight, an adventure at the top of Sulphur Mountain onboard the Banff Gondola, the views from the top are breathtaking looking towards six stunning mountain ranges and the Bow Valley. Walk along the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk to the top of Sanson's Peak. Explore the above Banff interpretive centre which includes hands-on interactive displays that explain your surroundings within Banff National Park. Dinner will be included, dining in Sky Bistro with its floor to ceiling windows and spectacular views where you can savour a distinctly Canadian menu.

Thursday 05 November Free Day Banff

Day 9: Today is free for everyone to explore the area. Maybe have a soak in the natural spring thermal baths. The shopping is amazing in Banff so if you need any last-minute warm clothes etc they are all available with a short walk from the hotel. Evening at leisure

Friday 06 November Banff to Winnipeg

Day 10: Today we say goodbye to the incredible Rockie mountains and transfer to Calgary Airport for our flight to Winnipeg.

Arrive in Winnipeg and check into your hotel; Welcome reception hosted by a Frontiers North Interpretive Guide.

Saturday 07 November Winnipeg to Churchill

Day 11: Early morning flight to Churchill; Churchill and area tour; Parks Canada Visitor Centre interpretive program; Polar Bears International House visit; Cultural Presentation from a local Indigenous Churchillian.

Sunday 08 November Churchill

Day 12: Spend a full day out in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area observing polar bears and other subarctic wildlife on a Tundra Buggy®.

Day 15: Today we transfer to the Airport for our flight to Vancouver. On arrival we will board our transfer to Whistler. This is beautiful drive along the sea to Sky Highway. On arrival in whistler, we will check into our hotel with the evening to explore this beautiful place.

Thursday 12 November Whistler at Leisure

Day 16: Today you have time to explore the beautiful town of whistler. It is both a summer and winter playground for Biking Hiking and Skiing. There are loads of options for activities. Also, a visit to the Squamish/ Lillooet nation centre gives a great insight to the indigenous culture of the area.

Tonight is at leisure to frequent one of the lively restaurants/Bars which Whistler is famous.

Friday 13 November Whistler

Day 17: This morning we will head up on the gondolas to the top of Whistler Mountain and then take the peak-to-peak gondola across to Blackcomb Mountain. These were the mountains that during the Winter Olympic secured Whistler as one of the premium ski resorts in the world.

This evening will be our farewell dinner. D

Saturday 14 November Whistler - Vancouver

Day 18: Today we head back down the sea to Sky Highway and leave the mountains to Vancouver Airport. We say goodbye to our fellow travellers and board our flights back home.
